Waterproofing is another major part of our business and Danlaid's quality range
of waterproofing products cover all application requirements. Area's of
opportunity are found in roof decks, podium decks, planter boxes, retaining
walls, commonly required on multi story apartment developments, office
buildings, etc.
Our other main service available is the tile & screed removal. A large
percentage of this work is generated through the refurbishment of existing
buildings, particularly in upgrading major shopping complexes. Danlaid have the
equipment and labour readily available to mechanically remove existing tiles and
screeds from the substrate, then diamond grind the surface clean and smooth,
ready for the new floor finishes to be laid. In many situations, a thin bed self
levelling floor topping compound is required to correct the existing floor
heights, and this is where Danlaid's floor topping compounds play a major role.
