Coco Cubano Receives Praise from Good Living Magazine
Coco Cubano ’s recently opened Parramatta outlet has given the cafe franchise a positive review in the Sydney Morning Herald’s Good Living Magazine.
Reviewer, Rachel Olding, praised the ambience, decor, cocktail menu and chocolate treats that the Parramatta Coco Cubano had to offer.
"People often believe that if something is a chain, it's bland and unoriginal. I don't buy into that notion after visiting this place," writes Olding.
"My scepticism about franchises is drowned out by hot chocolate and sangria. I'm officially joining the revolution."
Tony Melhem, Coco Cubano’s franchisor was very pleased with the review and hopes it would show the public that franchised foodservices can be just as unique and credible as independent operators.
"Some people think franchises can be a bit soulless and bland, but that doesn't have to be the case and it isn't always the case. With Coco Cubano we really want to give it a soul. We want to deliver an experience and we put a lot of passion into it," says Melhem.
"It's about paying a bit of respect to each individual location and the community there as well. You can't treat them all the same.”
Coco Cubano, restaurant and cafe franchises, offers tapas-style dishes, desserts, cocktails and coffees. The cafe franchises are currently located in Kings Cross, Taylor Square and Parramatta, NSW.
