Cafe2U celebrates magic century with 100th Australian mobile coffee franchise
Dee Why local Michael Dolahentyhas unintentionally become part of a huge milestone for franchise network, Cafe2U Mobile Coffee Franchise . The Australian-born mobile coffee franchise hasreached its 100th Australian franchise courtesy of Dolahenty, the owner of thenew Cromer and Dee Why territories. He wasn’t expecting his new businessventure to mark a major highlight within the international company.
“I didn’t realise I had purchased the100th franchise until training commenced. It is quite anachievement,” he said.
The mobile coffee franchise network alsohas more than 50 coffee franchises throughout the UK including Scotland,Northern England, Southern England, the Channel Islands and Northern Ireland.The brand is now set to launch in the US and NZ and has attracted a wideinterest from the Middle Eastern and Asian markets.
The mobilecoffee franchise continues to experience exceptional growth at around 40% eachof the past four years. There has also been increase in average revenue peroutlet, up to $187,222 in 2008-09 from $153,867 in 2007-08.
According to AndySimpkin, founder of the mobile coffee franchise network, overall franchiserevenue growth has been driven by two overriding factors.
“Firstly there was the implementation of an ongoingprogramme of business analysis with existing franchisees and secondly there isthe launch of the “Acceleration Package” which ensures new franchisees starttheir business with a higher base line of sales than in previous years. This isa unique training and development programme which also includes a revenueguarantee for the first two weeks of trading,” he said.
Simpkin added that Michael symbolised a significant milestone forthe mobile coffee franchise as a whole. “This is a triumphant time within the company. 100Australian franchises has a nice ring to it and we are very happy for Michael.”
