Bronze medal awarded to Cafe2U mobile coffee franchises at Golden Bean Roasting Competition awards

Cafe2U has earned the distinction of being the only mobile coffee chain in Australia to be recognised at the 2010 CSR Golden Bean Roasting Competition, earning a bronze medal for its mobile coffee franchises.

Awarded in the strongly contested coffee chain category, the accolade is a vindication for Cafe2U mobile coffee vans, in an industry where mobile coffee operators are traditionally dismissed as inferior purveyors of coffee.

Managing Director of Cafe2U mobile coffee franchises, Derek Black, notes that the award marks the first time that the brand has been entered into a roasting competition.

“Being a mobile business, Cafe2U needs to stand out in the eyes of the customer,” he says. “This is why we have always been extremely passionate about the quality of our coffee blend. It was fantastic to receive such high recognition from industry experts.”

The CSR Golden Bean Roasting Competition is the largest coffee roasting competition in the southern hemisphere. Winners of the awards receive industry accolades, and are allowed to brand their coffee retail packaging with the prestigious award logo.
