Chartered engineer brings Breeze Photos digital printing franchises to Brisbane West
Andrew Turner had worked as a chartered engineer for twenty years before he joined Breeze Photos digital printing franchises in Brisbane West in January 2009.
Having never owned or run a business before, Andrew explains that the Breeze Photos franchise model presented him with an opportunity to start his own small business while taking advantage of the guidance and support provided by others who had been there before him.
After researching the digital printing franchises further, Andrew found that Breeze Photos could offer the kind of business he says he was looking for.
“I had wanted a work-from-home business with a mix of creative, sales and PC skills involved, and a product with a feel-good factor and plenty of scope for repeat business,” he notes.
Once his investment was secured, Andrew received full training in his home studio on the equipment provided by Breeze Photos, as well as the production of canvas prints from both digital files and original prints.
Third party training was also provided, he adds, on the MYOB accountancy package as it relates to small business.
This is not the end of the support offered to operators of Breeze Photos photography franchises, Andrew notes, with an extensive support network available to him whenever it is needed.
He says that “beyond the formal training, I receive ongoing technical and moral support from the franchisor, and am supplied with regular updates on pricing, production techniques and marketing.”
