About Brainwave Transition to School
Brainwave Transition to School

Brainwave Transition To School thoroughly prepares children for their first year of formal schooling. This early exposure to the skills and knowledge each child will be expected to not only grasp, but understand quickly once at school.

What is Brainwave Transition To School?

The Brainwave family believes absolutely in the old adage “prior preparation prevents poor performance”.

Athletes who train for a race will undoubtedly do far better than those who simply turn up on the day and hope for the best.

Nor does a surgeon’s preparation begin as they walk through the operating room doors.
For both of them, the success of their work will be optimised when their training is provided by a team of experts who know exactly what the best outcomes should be and can devise a plan which will be successful in reaching those outcomes.

Brainwave realises the same applies to children and the race they are about to begin as they go to school. The optimum preparation for children going to school for the first time can only be delivered by professionals who understand how children best learn and who know exactly on which criteria each child will be judged once at school.

The race children enter as they start school, however, can only be run once and it is a race which will last for twelve years. In many instances the outcome for the child at the finish line will, in no small way, be determined by the quality of the start they had, how quickly they could “get out of the blocks”.
We prepare children to have the softest landing possible on “Planet School”. Gone are the days when children are able to hit the ground running in the first few weeks or months of their first formal schooling experience with an absence of any quality preparation.

Transition To School thoroughly prepares children for their first year of formal schooling. This early exposure to the skills and knowledge each child will be expected to not only grasp, but understand quickly once at school, will “act like a little insurance policy” for each child. It will increase the child’s self-esteem and bring with it far greater confidence within the child in the formal school setting.

The response in the classroom, following Transition To School will happily be, "I know that!", "I already know how to do that!"

Brainwave Learning Centre Pty Ltd is a family owned and operated company. Margaret and Graeme Chivers and Sarah and Craig Cosis are the company owners who have between them more then ninety years experience in the education of children. Of this experience, more than thirty of these years were served in management within schools.

When you join our team you will be joining a team of professionals who not only have built a highly successful business, but who know their product. Their wealth of experience has led them to the development of this quality service, a service which yields important results.

In short, as a Brainwave Transition To School franchisee, you will not only be joining a most successful business model, you will also have the peace of mind knowing that the owners have extensive experience in all things educational.
