New Zealand business event Bizzone to be franchised in Australia

The Bizzone Business Expo is to be franchised in every Australian state. Australia is the first franchise target for the exhibition business and it is set to go worldwide.

The exhibition franchise is a total business support package that includes the Bizzone Business Expo, the Bizzone Excellence in Business Support Awards and the Bizzone Magazine, a circulation business magazine in New Zealand.

Run by Sarah Trotman from New Zealand, Bizzone is a business services franchise and a prestigious event on the New Zealand business calendar. NZ Prime Minister Hon John Key will present this year’s Vero Excellence in Business Support Awards during the Auckland Bizzone Expo at a gala dinner for 600 business support influencers. The Bizzone business exhibition franchise holds the event annually in New Zealand in Auckland, Wellington and Christchurch and 13,500 business people attend the event each year.

“The current economic climate means there are more businesses needing support and exhibitors at the Bizzone Business Expo have always been leaders in business support,” Sarah Trotman says. “Also, with more people being made redundant and a growing unemployment rate of both sides of the Tasman, there are more people setting up their own businesses. They will all need help to be successful and the Bizzone franchise package is aimed at helping businesses grow.”

Small and medium businesses make up 96% of New Zealand companies and in Australia they make up 96% of all businesses in the non-agricultural industries in Australia (Australian Bureau of Statistics 1999).

Bizzone has commissioned New Zealand's franchising and licensing consultancy, Franchize Consultants, which was Service Provider of the Year (Westpac New Zealand Franchise Awards 2008) to structure the international franchise model.
