What is the cost of your franchise and what does that include?

The franchise cost is $33,900 which includes everything you need to begin. It includes a specialised mobile washing unit, all equipment, uniforms, shampoos, retail sales, an advertising and marketing campaign and a guaranteed income for the first 10 weeks of $700 per week.

Describe the training and ongoing support you provide to franchisees?

Our training covers all aspects of the business. Dog washing and handling skills, marketing and advertising, bookkeeping, retail sales and communication skills. After the initial training your local support manager and key franchisees are there to support you with regular phone calls, ongoing training and advice wherever needed. Bi-monthly newsletters are provided, an operator only web site and a yearly conference are all part of the support Aussie Pooch provides to ensure your businesses success.

What is your strategy for the future growth of the system and how many franchises do you expect to have in five years time?

With one dog to every three households Australia-wide, there is the opportunity for more dog lovers to reap the rewards of becoming an Aussie Pooch Mobile franchisee. With the success of each of our franchisees our brand will remain at the forefront of this industry and will continue to grow. We are planning for approximate growth of 15 – 30 percent, which will see in excess of 250 mobile units by the year 2011.
