Aussie Pooch Mobile Dog Wash celebrates 21st birthday
Aussie Pooch Mobile Dog Wash celebrates their 21st birthday with a pooch party, which also involves filming the event for a social media fundraiser.
“While everyone loves a good party, the day is really about rewarding the dogs and the volunteers at the Animal Welfare League,” said Aussie Pooch Mobile founder, Chris Taylor.
“Around Australia there are many organisations that help animals, especially dogs and most of it is voluntary. So it’s a big thank you to the volunteers as well.”
The 21st birthday bash will be held on March 27, 2012, at the Animal Welfare League of Queensland Gold Coast shelter. The event will also be filmed and uploaded on Youtube.
On top of the pooch party, for the entire month of March, Aussie Pooch is donating 21 cents to the RSPCA Australia for each ‘like’ they receive on their facebook page. The dogs washing franchises has a long standing partnership with the RSPCA and participate in many of their events, including the Million Paws Walk, every year.
“Turning 21 is a real milestone and not something a lot of businesses achieve. But because dogs really are our best friends, and always will be, Aussie Pooch isn’t going anywhere soon. In fact, demand for services is continually increasing as so many people are bogged down with other things in their lives,” said Taylor.
Aussie Pooch Mobile Dog Wash and all mobile pet care franchises plans to celebrate their 21st birthday with a new motto – giving back to the community for the entire year.
“To celebrate our 21st year, we are dedicated to giving back to our wonderful community and what better way than to start off with something so simple that both dog owners and the general public can help out and make a real difference,” said Taylor. “
So please take am minute out of your time, LIKE us on Facebook and know that in some way you maybe just saving a dog’s life.” To visit Aussie Pooch Mobile Dog Wash’s facebook page, click on the facebook icon or visit their website for more details.
