Training

You do not need to be an electrician.    The Australian Standard requirement for testing and tagging of portable electrical appliances is that you are a competent person as defined by the Standard.

Following successful completion of a Test and Tag & Cert II in Fire Protection course conducted by external providers, ATS provides a two week induction training course at our Melbourne Support Office.

Our comprehensive training provides all of the technical skills you will require to perform Testing and Tagging of portable electrical appliances, along with the additional Fire services that ATS offers to its clients.

Appliance Tagging Services will take into account your previous practical experience as well as prior employment to tailor both technical training, and valuable training in business operations,  compliance procedures along with sales and marketing training.

Sales training and coaching is provided on an ongoing basis, along with continual technical support and development to help you successfully grow your own business.

Please note in QLD you are required to be a Registered Electrical Contractor (not an electrician) and hold appropriate QBCC licences.   ATS will guide you with the application process.
