AIV is Always Growing!

The AIV Mission Statement is:

"To become the number one route trade and regional distributor in Australia."

In order to fulfill this mission, A.I.V need to continually expand the their network of quality franchisees. AIV franchisees are far more than delivery drivers. AIV franchisees are most importantly business owners and sales people. They are dedicated to their work, and offer a level of customer service that is unrivaled.

What makes a great AIV Franchisee?

It’s not too hard to become a good AIV Franchisee. To be a great AIV Franchisee however, you need to be an exceptional person!

The best AIV Franchisees are:

  1. Committed to customer service
  2. Prepared to work some very long days
  3. Confident sales people
  4. Efficient and organised in everything they do
  5. Able to work in the franchise team as well as alone
  6. Prepared to learn and to accept change in order to grow!

Who makes a great AIV Franchisee?

AIV Franchisees come from a variety of backgrounds - some you would expect, and some might be a little surprising!

  • Owners of existing foodservice distribution businesses such as milk runs, regional warehouses, soft drink & juice distributors, ice cream distributors, pie vans and so on...
  • Past employees of similar businesses
  • Ex-white collar professionals including IT, banking, sales and marketing
  • Ex-trades people like bricklayers, builders, stone masons and mechanics

It is not always the case that people with existing distribution businesses make the best franchisees - sometimes the systems are just not compatible. But in saying that, about half of the existing AIV Franchisees are also distributors of other products, mostly milk!

Don’t worry if you have never even driven a four tonne truck! Some of the most successful AIV Franchisees have business backgrounds, and are certainly entrepreneurs, not delivery drivers.
