The automotive franchise is jointly owned by the Australian Truck and Auto Parts, the largest specialist distributor in Australia. The car repair and servicing business was founded in the year 1981, and the first franchise store was opened in 1984. The car servicing franchise, which is recognised as an industry expert, has since spread across Darwin, Perth and Hobart.

Currently, the ABS franchise operates 40 stores across Australia and is considered a leader in automotive braking systems. The brake repairs franchise has evolved into a vehicle servicing business after successfully adopting under car and suspension repairs. During its initial stages, the vehicle repair franchise was known as a specialist parts remanufacturer and distributor of spare parts.

The automotive business has turned its attention and focus towards growth that comes from gaining more knowledge and providing better customer service. The automotive business franchise has the support of the largest distributor of brake parts in Australia, the Australian Truck and Auto Parts, which supplies brake parts. The vehicle repair franchise is poised to grow further with the knowledge and customer support it has gained over the years of its existence.
