CHOOKS fresh & tasty stores have a “who wants to own their ownbusiness?” plaque set up. If a customer makes a franchise enquiry at your store you can hand them our
corporate brochure and refer them to our website for more information.
Did you know that anyone can download a nutritional information chart for all CHOOKS fresh & tasty products from our website? This is a great point to bring up with our customers if they make a relevant enquiry. You can simply tell them they are able to download the chart by going to the “menu” page on our website. This is very helpful for people with allergies to MSG, peanuts, gluten and any others.
Injury Notification Forms &new Safety Management SystemIf any incidents occur at your store, your store owner and/or store supervisor and the CHOOKS Encouragement Centre want to know about it to avoid more serious incidents happening in future and ensure everyone is in a safe working environment.
An incident can be any event or occurrence that may impact on the safety, security or welfare of team members and/or customers. CHOOKS fresh & tasty expects all team members to report unsafe acts and working conditions – even near misses.
At CHOOKS, the Safety Incident Notification Form must be filled out when any incident occurs. The Safety Incident Notification Form can be found under Incident Management/Forms on our new SMS located on the desktop of every CHOOKS fresh & tasty office computer.
The Safety Incident Notification Form details the following information:
1. Date of the incident
2. Location of the incident
3. Team member involved in the incident
4. Contact details for the Franchisee or Store Manager
5. Description of the incident
6. Was anyone injured, if so, who
7. Status of the injury
8. Has an investigation commenced
9. Have measures been taken to ensure a similar incident never occurs again
10. Any other relevant comments or informationThe completed form must be faxed to the
CHOOKS Encouragement Centre within 8 hours of the incident occurring. The CHOOKS Encouragement Centre will assist the store owner to investigate the incident and find the solution necessary to prevent the incident from occurring again in future.If you are unsure where to find the Safety Incident Notification Form, ask your store owner or manager now!
