The Honda Australia MPE franchise capitalise on the Australian’s extensive use of Honda products by manufacturing and distributing Honda products. The power equipment business is also well known for its rider training units located in various parts of the country. The automotive franchise’s rider training facility is believed to be the chosen training provider for a number of services including the ‘Australia Post’ delivery personnel.
The automotive franchise’s Honda Australia Rider Training (HART) has three locations in Australia which include two sites in Melbourne and one in New south Wales. The two Melbourne sites are in the eastern Kilsyth suburb and northern Tullamarine suburb and the third location in St Ives. The power equipment established the three sites in 1989, 1994 and 2000 respectively.
The riders’ training programme of Honda Australia Rider Training completes over 18000 students training per year across all three locations. St Ives also trains students in motor vehicle in addition to motorcycle. The automotive franchise was the winners of Australia’s
Superbike and Supersport title in 2004. Joe Rocket Honda won the dual title again in 2005 for the power equipment business. In 2006, Honda Australia MPE became the 20,000th member of Red Riders club.
