In typical entrepreneurial style, Emmanuel Kokoris and Emmanuel Drivas opened the Coffee Club franchise because they couldn’t find a good cup of coffee when they wanted one. That was back in 1989. Now, as Australia’s largest locally-owned retail coffee franchise chain they have more than 130 stores across the country, and The Coffee Club is venturing overseas.
The master franchise has been sold in Dubai and Korea, and there are plans to expand from two outlets in New Zealand.
“The Coffee Club is built on six building blocks – core values, people, marketing, operations, property and financial management,” says Marketing and Public Relations Director, John Lazarou.
“By focusing on these areas and dedicating ourselves to becoming a leader in the franchise and hospitality industries, we have been able to develop a strong franchise system.
“We know the success of the business depends on our franchisees, so we try to support them as best we can in every facet of the business.”
