Jacquie is one of many team members working in a
CHOOKS fresh & tasty store owned by Brian, Faye, Shane and Lynn Crookes. The Crookes’ own Halls Head, Mandurah Forum, Silver Sands and Pinjarra CHOOKS stores.
How long have you worked for CHOOKS?
Approximately two-and-a-half years. I have worked at both Silver Sands and Halls Head but I’m currently at Silver Sands.
What was your first role at CHOOKS? My first role was as a
customer assistant – I am the best customer assistant ever!
What is your current role at CHOOKS? I am a team member but am also starting an
in-store traineeship in management.
What are your hobbies? Spending time with my 17 month old son Kai and watching him grow up into a beautiful boy.
What is your favourite food? Pizza and the CHOOKS fillet burger with cheese.
If you could be any animal what would it be? A tiger because they’re fiery and ferocious and always get what they want.
What is your favourite ice cream flavour?
Triple chocolate with extra chocolate topping!
Where do you live?
I live at Halls Head which is about a 10 minute drive from the Silver Sands store.
Where is the furthest place you have been from Australia? I haven’t been outside of Australia but I travelled around Australia for about two-and-a-half months when I was 8-years-old.
What is your favourite movie? The Grinch.
What would you describe as your perfect day? A day where I am the centre of attention and everything’s about me.
What do you like best about working at CHOOKS?
I like the team work. I like creating a friendly atmosphere. CHOOKS has created a future that I never thought I could strive to achieve and succeed in but now I’m in the process of learning management and hope to own my own
CHOOKS store one day.
