Specialty coffee retailer

Gloria Jean’s Coffees’ mission is to build a unified family that consistently serves the highest quality coffee and provides outstanding personalised service in a vibrant store atmosphere.

A franchisee in the family can expect to become part of an organisation dedicated to the success of each store. All franchisees undertake comprehensive training through Gloria Jean’s Coffees University where a range of new skills are mastered – from making the perfect espresso and learning about specialty coffees to hiring the right staff. Gloria Jean’s Coffees franchisees also have ready access to a keen, experienced management team that is always ready to listen, respond and assist in helping run stores efficiently.

A Gloria Jean’s Coffees franchisee has the benefit of being part of a leading brand that is constantly introducing new and innovative quality products. Access is provided through its franchisee system to exclusive coffees, freshly roasted in our state-of-the-art roasting facility in Castle Hill, and unique drinks like Mocha Caramelatte and the cold, refreshing Mocha Chillers range. To support the product offering, all franchisees receive strong marketing assistance at a national and local level.

A Gloria Jean’s Coffees franchisee must have a passion for coffee and be able to share their enthusiasm with customers while providing helpful information and advice. Gloria Jean’s Coffees’ franchisees are committed to their stores and staff, which in turn builds customer loyalty and sales.

In December 2004, Gloria Jean’s Coffees Australia purchased the international rights to the Gloria Jean’s Coffees restaurant and cafe franchise brand worldwide, which means that this wholly-owned and operated Australian company will now oversee the 250 stores in Australia, as well as 83 stores in 12 other countries including Japan, Korea, Malaysia, Mexico and New Zealand.
