Signwave says franchises must grab customers’ attention

According to the Signwave franchise, every franchise wants to raise its visibility with the public and generate attention for its products and services. So how does a company stand out from the crowd?

“One way is to grab attention with full colour graphics,” says the business services franchise general manager, Katherine Groom. “Eye-catching, colourful, memorable graphics used for advertising, for trade show displays and on signage help businesses build customer awareness and name recognition.

“The digital technology used to produce full colour graphics keeps advancing. The equipment used today produces great, durable graphics with vibrant colours that are within the budget of even the smallest company.”

Sign industry research points to the effectiveness of graphics as a way to grab attention.

“Colour on a sign or graphic attracts 15 percent more attention from viewers than presenting the same information in black and white,” Groom says.

According to Groom there are a number of ways that franchises, large or small, can use full colour graphics to grab attention, including:

•Custom banners for indoor or outdoor use

•Presentations and meeting signs

•Exhibits and displays

•Vehicle graphics

•Restaurant signs and menu boards

•Property management signs

•Fine art and photography prints

•Point-of-purchase signs

•Window graphics

•Backlit displays.

“Finding the right graphic to use on your sign can be challenging, especially for smaller businesses,” she says. “However, Signwave Australia has access to a digital, searchable stock photo library with more than 65,000 high-resolution, professionally shot photographs. This photo library includes images from people to nature shots to cityscapes, and can be used by customers without paying royalties.”

Signwave Australia is the Australian master franchisor for the international Fastsigns system that has more than 460 franchise locations worldwide.
