Red Rooster franchise in Geelong

The Red Rooster franchise is poised to open new restaurants in the Geelong area.

Recognising the need for fresh and healthy family meal replacement in the developing areas of Geelong, Australia’s iconic fast food franchise is excited about its planned growth in 2007.

The Red Rooster franchise has committed to two outlets in the immediate future to be opened in the Geelong area bringing the total number of stores to five. The new areas include Leopold and Waurn Ponds, with an additional outlet planned for Torquay

National Franchise Manager for Red Rooster, Alan Tulloch says, “Geelong is an ideal place for Australia’s favourite oven roasted chicken chain to grow. We feel that being 100 per cent Australian owned and offering a great honest product means a lot to the people of Geelong.”

Currently, the fast food franchise is made up of a mixture of nearly 400 outlets, comprising of a mixture of company and franchise stores.

“We are aiming for growth in franchised stores within the Red Rooster network and we would like to work towards a 50/50 mix of company and franchised outlets. Ideally, we would like for the Geelong stores to be franchised and are interested in talking to individuals who would like to take them on,” Tulloch says.

“We are looking for enthusiastic, local people who share our vision about growing the brand in the area and are passionate about great food served quickly. Many of our franchisees have had fantastic success in regional and semi regional areas of Australia by their involvement in the local community.

“A franchisee can add more of a personal touch than a company operation. Riding on the back of our brand repositioning strategy ‘It’s Gotta be Red’, we have franchisees that have enjoyed great success and high profits. Red Rooster franchisees can benefit from an established and trusted Australian brand.”

Leopold is planned for opening in the near future with Waurn Ponds and Torquay later this year.
