Prosell franchisees celebrate their success

Sydney based performance improvement consultancy Prosell has been providing businesses with practical and tangible employee development solutions for over 20 years. This year they have not only undertaken projects with News Advantage (the sales division of media organisation News Limited) fashion retail outlet ICE Design, PBL and Visa, they have also introduced an innovative new franchise model, which has seen the business take a new direction.

CEO Peter Fullbrook and Sales and Marketing Director Barry Porter spent over two years developing the Prosell franchise model before introducing it to the market. The model is designed to ensure Franchisees experience long term support and success as well as ensuring a high benchmark of quality for all Prosell Clients.

As part of their commitment to the Franchisees, Prosell have developed a software system that allows them to monitor and track each Franchisee’s goals, targets and performance.

“By monitoring our Franchisees performance we are able to better support them and their business. When we have our weekly meetings with each Franchisee we can discuss what challenges they are facing, see how this is impacting on their results and develop a strategy to overcome any obstacles,” Fullbrook explained.

“It is no mean feat to become a successful franchisee and during our research of existing franchise models in the market; we found ‘burn out’ to be one of the issues facing many franchisees. We very deliberately wanted to we drive our franchisee model in a way that provided strong support networks, business leads that create revenue for our consultants during their initial set up, which go towards preventing the burn outs we saw during our research.  Ultimately, we are just as accountable for success as they are and there are not many franchisors with that as their charter!”

Alan Alderson, Prosell’s first Australian-based Franchisee who manages the Northern Beaches territory in Sydney, believes the support shown to him has made the difference in achieving such high levels of success over the first months.

“The stand-out factor for me has been the consistent help and support from Prosell Central. Not only in terms of analytical advice – letting me know elements I need to improve on, but also in terms of generating new business leads. Since I set up in January, 50 per cent of my new business has come from Prosell Central.”

NSW Central Coast Practice Director John Giffney who became a Franchisee in May 2007, researched a number of business to business franchise models before joining Prosell.

“The main attraction of Prosell for me is that they offer significantly more accountability than any of the other B2B franchises in the market. Not only are they the only business I found that truly provides Clients with measurable results and return on investment, but they extend that level of detail to their Franchisees. Every element of the business is carefully and thoroughly thought out to maximise results for all involved. The attention to detail and analytical feedback provided by Barry since I became a franchisee has helped me improve my consultancy a great deal.”

Former Prosell employee and now Franchisee Belinda Jackson is based out of New York City and joins the other Franchisees in experiencing increasing success under the Prosell franchise.

“Obviously it is not practical for me to ‘check in’ with Peter and Barry in the office every week and it can be difficult with time differences and the like coordinating conference calls with them, but that hasn’t decreased the level of support I receive as a Prosell Franchisee. I would say that my weekly conference calls with Peter and Barry have contributed heavily to the success I am having with my business.”

The results Prosell has achieved in 2007 are testament to the strong relationships with the Franchisees and the success of the franchise model. Prosell continues to seek quality and driven potential franchisees to ensure continued success and development.
