Pizza Hut never looked so good

The friendly and relaxed atmosphere of Pizza Hut has been enhanced with a new modern look, yet again, demonstrating the company’s leadership in store design and customer comfort.

Pizza Hut was the first pizza chain to open in Australia and from that first restaurant in Belfield, Sydney, established in 1970, the business has grown to over 394 stores in Australia and New Zealand and over 12,000 stores worldwide, including Western Australia franchises.

The brand’s success is due to the great tasting quality product, value for money meal bundles and the welcoming, comfortable atmosphere that attracts a wide range of customers including families and young people.

In 2006, the back of house was opened up so that customers could become more involved in the assembly and cooking of their food by watching the process from order through to collection.

Now, this great customer experience is being further developed with a range of service enhancements to the foyer area. New backlit menu boards with reader friendly panels are being used, flat screen LCD TVs provide entertainment and a new simple eating bar style of dining has been added where patrons can enjoy views through the shopfront glass.

The overall effect of the pizza franchise is stunning. Each new element in the design is linked together and given a new ultra-modern look by the careful choice of ceramic tiles, purpose-designed murals and bright lights.

Stores across Australia are being renovated so the new look will be consistent and easily recognised. It is all part of the Pizza Hut strategy for actively growing the brand.

"Pizza Hut is a company focused on growth. We have had an extremely successful track record over the past 37 years and we will continue to lead the pizza category in product and service innovation," says Kurt Whitlow, general manager of operations.

Over the next three years Pizza Hut is relocating some existing stores and has plans to build more than 50 new stores throughout Australia.

"The execution of our growth strategy presents greater opportunities for locally-owned, single-unit Pizza Hut franchises and we are looking for new franchisees in most states right now," says Kurt.

"It is a very exciting time and we look forward to recruiting more franchisees to our friendly and successful team."
