The Mortgage Choice franchise, Australia’s leading mortgage broker, is furthering its dedication to borrowers with the October 2 launch of the ‘Mortgage Choice Pathways’ nurturing program.
Pathways’ aims to assist potential customers - those who are interested in finding out more about the different types of property loans that are specific to their situation but who may be too early in the buying cycle to take out a loan.
The financial services franchise National Corporate Affairs Manager Warren O’Rourke said the program caters to the needs of potential property buyers, who tend to be under-educated when it comes to property loans and the housing market in general.
“In fact, our most recent independent online survey showed that 21.1 per cent of Australians who are looking to buy property in the next two years felt they had no idea about the process of getting a mortgage. Only 14.3 per cent said they were well-informed,” he said.
“Our aim is to nurture these Australians through that initial period where they are ‘shopping around’ but aren’t quite ready to buy a property or seek approval for a loan.
“We want to regularly educate these buyers-to-be by keeping them informed and up to date on the mortgage market via monthly electronic communication, including easy-to-read fact sheets”.
Those who want to join ‘Mortgage Choice Pathways’ will be able to do so by registering via the company’s website. The nurture program caters for first and subsequent home buyers, investors and refinancers.
“Our new program is the culmination of our research into the needs of Australians who are looking into buying property, and it clearly demonstrates our commitment to the education and guidance of such borrowers, whether they are ready to enter the market or not,” Mr O’Rourke said.
Once subscribed, buyers-to-be will receive:
· An immediate welcome pack specific to their current mortgage situation;
· Monthly communication – fact sheets, offers and newsletters – over 12 months; and
· A final communication after that period advising of expiration of their registration and the offer of re-registering.
