Australia’s Best Mortgage Broker*, is pleased to announce the appointment of former Franchise Development Manager (FDM) for Queensland, Ross Harcastle, to the position of State Manager VIC/TAS.
Ross’s promotion is recognition of the achievements he made during his tenure as FDM for Queensland during the past 12 months, where he successfully strengthened Mortgage Choice’s position in a competitive environment. Ross first joined the company in July 2006 with a strong franchising and property background.
In his new position as VIC/TAS State Manager, Ross will be responsible for driving Mortgage Choice’s strategic growth while providing quality communication to the franchise network on strategic direction - supporting the network with activities such as business planning, growth strategies and marketing. He will also contribute to the development and implementation of the business’s nationally agreed strategies.
Ross believes the Victorian and Tasmanian franchise network is already renowned and respected within the
mortgage broking industry, and he is motivated to build upon their solid reputation.

Prior to joining Mortgage Choice in July 2006, Ross held the role of franchise consultant at PRDnationwide. This position entailed consulting to real estate agency franchisees on issues on such issues as production, marketing, staffing, systems and procedures, customer service and financial control.
He adds, “I am finding it highly rewarding to work with a market leader in the mortgage broking industry. I am very pleased to have achieved solid success during my time as Franchise Development Manager for Queensland and I am looking forward to embracing the new challenges of my state management role – including building upon the company’s already successful presence in the VIC/TAS market.”
