Mobile Coffee on the move

In January the mobile cafe franchise Cafe2U will have notched up 100 franchises, 75 in Australia and 25 franchises in the UK. Andy Simpkin, managing director, believes the potential market penetration is 35 per cent with Queensland already at 50 per cent but Victoria just at 8 per cent.

The newest appointment is Melbourne based franchise development manager, Steven Wren, and the first foray into WA will be a Perth franchise opening in February. There are plans for further expansion in the UK, New Zealand and north America, with 150 franchises the target for end 2008.
