Welcome to the 5th edition of
CHOOKS Chatter. I trust you all had a merry holiday season, a fantastic New Year and are ready to work like CHOOKS for the rest of 2008! And what a year ahead of us we have!
Something new to embrace in the coming months will be our computerised Safety Management System.
All stores will soon have this software loaded onto their computers which enables franchisees to manage safety and health issues in-store, and includes fantastic tools such as Injury Notification Forms and Hazard Report Forms. If you need any assistance with learning about the Safety Management System, please contact your Franchisee.
Reflecting on new additions...I’d like to congratulate Anthony Taranto on opening his second
CHOOKS fresh & tasty store at Coogee before Christmas. Plus, we have two more store openings planned in the coming months – one at Kinross and the other at Wanneroo which is growing our store numbers into a dynamic chain.
As our franchisees know, our February conference was held at Perth Zoo which reminded me about the importance of getting back to nature, or, in our modern world, getting back to basics. Just as there is structure in the animal kingdom in terms of size and the animal food chain, we also have a structure at CHOOKS. Just as there are procedures at the zoo for the animals to get fed, we have procedures at CHOOKS that need to be followed correctly to ensure we always provide the best product for our customers. And just as the zoo visitors keep coming back to the zoo to see the well kept animals, customers can get used to our great quality service and products and will keep coming back time and time again.
So let’s continue to show our customers why we are “the kings of the chicken coop” and wow them for another year, and well into the future!
Happy reading!
