MapInfo launches AnySite Australia

Launched in March 2007, AnySite Australia is a market analysis application tailored for the local market, which delivers visual and predictive analytic capabilities to improve the accuracy and efficiency of territory management and franchise site selection.

With AnySite, Australian franchise businesses are able to quickly and easily analyse and visually display customer and, market research data to find new site locations, grow existing locations or plan for emerging consumer service demand.

AnySite is a location intelligence tool for developing site selection and territory and franchise mapping management strategies, and analysing a broad range of consumer behaviour. Ideal for franchise business development, AnySite integrates Australian Census data, along with other high value industry data and estimates to enable organisations to map franchise demographics profiles against specific locations. For example, a retail franchise evaluating new store locations can determine the financial viability of different sites according to a range of criteria such as population density, drive time catchments and income levels, and then generate colour-coded maps to clearly display their findings.

Several Australian-based organisations such as Lend Lease, Brown-Forman and Elders are already relying on AnySite.

Elders, one of Australia's oldest and largest agribusinesses and diversified organisations, has chosen AnySite Australia to help it in a bid to provide competitive telecommunications services to customers in rural and regional areas. Using Anysite to integrate statistical and demographic data into their analysis, Elders' business analysts are able to understand the demographic profiles of its rural customer base and also assess potential customer demand and resulting capacity requirements.

“Anysite puts advanced location intelligence capabilities into the hands of business and public sector users, allowing them to generate a wide range of maps and reports to meet their needs,” said Jonathan Wright, MapInfo Australia’s Managing Director.

With AnySite users can generate literally hundreds of maps and reports within a single session, enabling them to identify within moments which of multiple sites has the greatest concentration of desired variables, and saving hours and even days of tedious work”.

What is more important is that AnySite offers an insightful and systematic method of site selection, franchise trade analysis and territory definition. The process is highly automated and repeatable the results are qualified and defensible.
