Leisure and entertainment services from the Civic Video franchise

The Civic Video franchise was started in the year 1985 and presently operates a chain of corporate video stores and franchisees all over the mainland states and territories of Australia. The leisure and entertainment franchise operates from a head office located in Sydney and its state operations are in Brisbane, Melbourne and Perth. The retail franchise has more than 330 stores spread across Australia, New Zealand and Thailand.

Civic Video employs more than 2,000 staff members on part-time and full-time employment nationally. Its franchise operations spread to New Zealand in the year 1998 under a master franchise agreement with a resident New Zealand company. Presently, 63 Civic Video stores are operating in New Zealand, and its head office is located in Auckland.

Civic Video entered Asia in the year 2005 under license from I-See Entertainment as a master franchisee for Thailand. Presently, there are 10 Civic Video stores in Thailand, with its head office in Bangkok. The retail franchise aims at becoming customers’ first choice in home entertainment by guaranteeing satisfaction in all areas of its business. The leisure and entertainment business is now seeking enquiries from prospective franchisees to open stores in Australia.
