Jumping Jay-Jays franchise

The Jumping J-Jays franchise provides a vast range of quality children’s party inflatable’s for backyard parties. “I know you will succeed by following my system” says John Newton, founder of Jumping J-Jays. “I am so confident I am offering you a first year turnover guarantee in your contract!”

In regards to the jumping castle franchise, he said, “I encourage you to research Australia’s incredible franchising industry. There are many opportunities to start your own small business with the support of many leading franchise systems. As a franchisor, I am committed to providing support and leadership to help my franchisees succeed.”

About the jumping castle franchise promise, he said, “My $85,000 guarantee is designed to ensure you follow my franchise system. I know our local area marketing works so if you do not make 485,000 turn over in your first franchise year, I will personally write you a cheque for the difference!”

Franchise Activity
Jumping J-Jays Castles and Slides was founded by John and Jane Newton in 1997 to provide an extensive range of quality children’s inflatable’s for backyard parties.

Franchised in 2000, today it is the largest jumping castle franchise business in the world, with more than 1000 inflatable’s distributed among 58 franchises in Australia and New Zealand. The inflatable’s vary in size, theme and design, which include combos and interactives.

The target is 80 jumping castle franchise partners operating in both metropolitan and regional Australia and all major cities in New Zealand.

In 2003 and 2004, Mr. Newton was awarded by the Franchise Council of Australia as Franchisor of the Year for home-based and mobile, 0-20 outlets category, and was appointed by the Orlando, Florida based International Inflatable Products and Games Association (IIPGA) as its first International Board of Directors member.

The company’s growth was recognised in 2004 and 2005 by the inclusion of the jumping castle franchise into Australia’s top 100 fastest growing companies by Business Review Weekly Magazine. In 2005 Jumping J-Jays was ranked by BRW as the 15th fastest growing franchise in Australia. In 2006 we were ranked 18th in the BRW Hot 100 franchise systems.

Mr. Newton declares of his jumping castle franchise system: Franchisees run the business on Saturdays and Sundays only, so they still work full time in their usual professions. Turn over is around $85,000 per year, with many achieving well over $100K. it is a home-based business with no shop rent, no debtors, no working capital and no staff. All bookings are managed through a centralised call centre at head office.”

The overwhelming success of the group and territory has been due to a number of simple, yet very important factors:
- There is no shop rent to pay.
- There are no perishables.
- Our stock is guaranteed to last you 5 years.
- There is no out of date stock.
- No staff.
- No staff equals more profit. A great business is one that allows you to earn the profit and not your staff.
- No working capital.
- We will supply you bookings from day one and you will process all the payments.
- We run a 7 day week call centre for you to take all the calls from the customers. All you need to do is process their payments.
- And best of all it offers excellent returns to franchisees.

Your Investment
Your investment is only $30,000 plus stock. This includes every piece of equipment you need for the business from the castles, trailer, racking for your garage, home and car signage through to all repair and cleaning kits. There will be nothing more you need to buy or spend.

Your day to day business effort
- Invoice and take money for about 12 bookings a week.
- Deliver 5-6 castles on Saturday and Sunday (20 minutes to install).
- 1 mid week day a week in local area marketing.
