David, manager of the Jimboomba Totalspan franchise and father of three boys, has been coaching under 12s soccer for four years now. So it was a natural choice for the building franchise to sponsor the Jimboomba team.
“We got into the grand final last year,” says David. “Our result wasn’t so good this year with a completely different team but the players had fun.”
The home services franchise provided club shirts for the players and David has also built the club an awning, with the help of a Jupiter’s Casino funding grant to buy the materials.
“Another thing we support is something called the Variety Bash,” David explains. “There’s a group of cars that travel all around Australia, raising money. We have a Totalspan logo on the window of the car and on the driver’s shirts. The Bash is on at the moment and they are driving around Australia now.”
