The new face of healthy fast-food will makes its debut in Frankston this week when ‘fresh and tasty’ wrap franchise,
Trios, opens at Bayside Shopping Centre providing locals with its unique healthy Laffé Wraps™ and salads.
The new store, will sell Trios’ signature Laffé Wraps™, which are made with authentic flat bread specially developed by Trios, which comes in three varieties – linseed, sourdough and wholemeal, all of which are high in fibre and Omega 3, and low in fat and salt.
Trios Managing Director and Co-Founder, Mr David Elia, said he was excited to introduce Trios’ fresh and tasty meal options to the Frankston community. “We’re delighted to be opening the Frankston store and hope locals enjoy our wide range of make-your-own Laffé Wraps™,” he said.
“Our wraps provide a great alternative not only to fatty fast-food, but also the traditional sandwich because they are made with a light-weight bread that leaves you feeling satisfied, without being bloated.
“Trios is a unique concept and no one else currently specialises in healthy wraps, salads and baked potatoes. A Trios Laffé Wrap™ is a nice change from the traditionally boring sandwich because our wraps come in a variety of great tasting flavours, as well as being good for you.”
Mr Elia said Trios was keen to get involved with the local community and would look at developing relationships with local organisations to provide support where possible.
“We believe it’s important to support the local communities in which Trios operates. “We appreciate the local support and in return, we like to give something back.
“We always welcome requests for local sponsorship and will try to help out wherever possible,” he said. Trios also runs regular promotions and will soon implement a customer loyalty program, giving customers the opportunity to win some great prizes.
“We want to let the Frankston community know that Trios is a fun brand that values its customers,” Mr Elia said. Recent health trends released by BIS Shrapnel found consumers wanted
fast food that was low in fat and cholesterol.
“For the person on the go, there are very few
healthy eating options available,” Mr Elia said. “Our products fill a void in the food court by providing delicious wraps and salads that use quality ingredients, which are also high in fibre, low in fat and cholesterol free.”
The new store will pave the way for approximately 10 local jobs to be created in the region. With the store’s bright green and red colours and friendly staff, Frankston locals certainly won’t miss Trios in the Bayside Shopping Centre food court when it opens next week.
Trios was founded in 2002 by Elias, Sam and David Elia and currently operates 13 stores in Victoria, with immediate plans to open in New South Wales and Queensland.
