Training beyond the basics
We place great emphasis on ensuring our Franchise Owners are professional and well trained in all aspects of their business. Prior to the commencement of the franchise, every owner will undertake training in our system. From then on we provide on-going daily management support and guidance during the operation of your business. You receive an Operations Manual for your guidance and as a training aid. Our training covers:-
- The complete procedure to be carried out on the delivery and pickup of Boxes. Customer relation techniques are also included in the training programme.
- The Marketing, Sales and Promotion Programme recommended to be carried out by the Franchisee in their area.
- Training in the System, from obtaining the Delivery and Pickup slips, carrying out the deliveries to performing advertising and marketing.

Marketing
- To ensure maximum exposure in your market area and to back-up the promotional activities, the HIRE A BOX Head Office Team provides on-site assistance during your initial launch.
- You will be trained in the sales skills needed to maximise customer service. This task will be very easy if you possess a pleasant personality and enjoy talking with people, as sales experience is not necessary, only the ability to tell people about the wonderful HIRE A BOX service. Needless to say, we will be looking for this type of person for our Franchisees.
- HIRE A BOX will carry out targeted and broad advertising to homes on the market for sale. Also jobs coming from this advertising outside the Franchisees' areas and not owned by another Franchisee, will be allocated to the Franchisees by the Franchisor.
We strongly recommend that you also dedicate 10% of your weekly turnover to local advertising. You will have control over how and where it is spent. Advertising creates jobs and will be the life-blood of your business.
Territory Analysis
We believe that your success as a Franchisee will be built on you developing a sound working knowledge of the area selected. Every area has a market potential, as every area has the movement of people needing Boxes. The Franchisor is dedicated to making each Franchisee successful and to help achieve this, the Franchisor will allocate available jobs from the non-allocated areas outside of the Franchisees' areas. This will help the Franchisees financially while their areas are being developed and also help during the term of the Franchise, by supporting the income of the Franchisees.
On-going Training and Support
We provide regular pre-planned visits to the Franchisee's area. These visits provide feedback on your operating results as well as monitoring your overall activities to assist you in maintaining the amount of jobs needed fora successful operation. There is phone contact with you on a continuing basis. Meetings are scheduled to review procedures and service quality.
