Healthy Inspirations franchise goes global

The Healthy Inspirations franchise of women's exercise and weight loss centres has opened 10 new centres around Australia and New Zealand since January 2007.

The franchise recently doubled in size globally with a total of 135 centres in the USA, 34 in Australia, and 3 in New Zealand.

Founded in the USA by industry expert Casey Conrad, Healthy Inspirations recently merged with another US women's fitness franchise, Slender Lady, to consolidate Healthy Inspirations' position as a force in the global weight loss market.

Healthy Inspirations Australia franchisor Jamie Hayes said the merger has grown the brand internationally.

"It has boosted our support and development infrastructure so Australians can continue to benefit from a unique total weight loss approach that combines individual nutritional plans, exercise, relaxation, and one-to-one support all under one roof, just for women," Hayes said.

Launched in Australia in 2001, the first Healthy inspirations franchise was granted in 2002. Healthy inspirations outlets are all owned, or co-owned, and managed by women.
