Go right to the source – David Reid Homes client testimonial

Being married to one of the most successful Real Estate Agents on Queensland’s Sunshine Coast is not without its perils when it comes to designing your dream home! My wife Fiona Browne is a multi award winning RE/MAX Agent and as such has sold some stunningly beautiful, prestigious and horrendously expensive homes. She has seen all the style, all the chic and all the gadgets, so when we decided to build our own dream home in Palmwoods, she came armed with some ultramodern, trendy and frighteningly expensive ideas.

With such high expectations for quality and style we had to choose our builder carefully. After closely examining more than a dozen builders, we turned to Dan and Amanda Rogers from David Reid Homes - based on their reputation for quality, service and efficiency. The question we had to ask ourselves was: will they be as good as they appear to be?

As we started out, Fiona and Amanda talked designs, colours and style, while Dan and I did the best we could to keep a tight rein on the purse strings! David Reid Homes helped to oversee every unique aspect of our home, from concept and design through to the building itself and as we progressed I began to understand the real meaning of the word “quality.”

We found pleasant tradesmen who were always only too happy to help, ably led by Project Manager Mark Goodall. We began to notice that in every aspect, from the slab, to termite treatment, wall and roof acoustic insulation, appliances, air conditioning, landscaping and many other features, our home was far superior to other houses being built around us. From the glass front door to the state-of-the-art security system, from the picturesque garden beds to the surround sound cinema - in every area of our home the construction showed genuine class, and has become as asset which constantly draws comments from our many visitors.

Best of all was the news that this superior quality and style did not cost a million dollars but was tailored to suit our much more limited budget. We discovered that it costs only a little more to secure excellence and value which will last a life time. We learned that, when building your dream home, you should never compromise on quality, and we are so thankful that we didn’t!

So the months of waiting and seemingly endless decisions have given rise to the magnificent home where we hope to spend many years together. We love the area, love the neighbourhood and love our house, and we are so thankful that we trusted David Reid Homes to make our dream a reality. If you are contemplating building, I believe you can do no better than David Reid Homes.
