Frontline Recruitment Group opens three new franchised offices

Frontline Hospitality continues its national expansion plans with the opening of their latest franchise agencies in Cairns, the Sunshine Coast, and NSW North Coast, bringing the total to nine hospitality agencies around Australia. The new agencies have been opened to compliment Frontline Hospitality's strong presence in NSW, Queensland, Western Australia, and Victoria.

Hospitality and Tourism are amongst the fastest growing industries in Australia. Hospitality employs 60 million people around the world, and there is literally hundreds of thousands of potential employers. In Australia, the tourism and hospitality industry is the second largest employer, with up to 1.2 million (direct and indirect) staff.

The war for talent has changed recruitment practices. "Five years ago at business services franchise Frontline Recruitment Group the average time between a position being listed and that position being placed was 28.7 days, now it is 18.6 days, this means recruiting speed has increased 35% in 5 years. The speed of recruitment in this tight labour market means you have to move quicker than ever before, candidates are going for interviews, receiving multiple offers in the same day so it is all about speed in the process, and understanding the generational issues associated with the candidate," said Peter Davis, Managing Director, Frontline Recruitment Group.

There is an increasing demand for hospitality services in Australia. To meet the demand, new restaurants and cafés are opening every day and established businesses are diversifying. The food and beverage job market is thus increasing by more than 4% each year and most (around 75%) of the new opportunities will be in the eastern states (Victoria, New South Wales and Queensland). Frontline Hospitality is catering at a local market level to this growing market.

"Hospitality is an industry that can provide people in their early twenties the opportunity to manage multi million dollar businesses with large teams of people in a fast paced exciting marketplace and all this with little or no tertiary or formal education. Hospitality can provide career minded Australians with a faster start in their professional life than almost any other industry in Australia. We are very excited about opening our three new agencies so that we can provide employers and jobseekers hospitality industry expertise, at a local market level," adds Davis.
