The safety and security solutions franchise utilises a highly successful franchised business structure to effectively distribute its products throughout Australia. The business model for the business services franchise has been so successful that it was borrowed by a New Zealand firm to create OzSpy.
The territories that are to be franchised have been classified into three levels by OzSpy based on the population of the areas. Areas belonging to different levels will be available at different franchise fees. Territories in Level A will have a population count of over 100,000 and the price tag is set at $100k. Level B territories will be available at $75K and will contain a population of 50,000 to 100,000 and Level C territories with less than 50,000 population will be priced at $50k.
All members of the OzSpy franchise will receive full training and support from the firm, as well as marketing plans, a media kit, operating manuals and exclusive control over their territories.
The responsibilities of the licensee to the OzSpy franchise include hiring employees where necessary, training employees, learning operations manuals and complying with the branding and standards manual. The licensee will also shoulder the responsibility of payment of the initial franchise fee, 8% royalty, 2% marketing levy, monthly admin fee.
