Graham Smith has commenced training as the first franchisee for the Concrete Taxi franchise and will be based in the northern suburbs.
First franchisee for the automotive franchise, Graham Smith, has had a background working in mining locations in the North-West - good money but no lifestyle. Commencing at a Training School run in the WGSO on 8th August, Graham will be commencing in the field in his own right by end of August.
In other news, the Concrete Taxi franchise will be operating it's call centre from Geebung starting September 2006.
Recognising the rapid initial growth and projected long term growth of the eastern states market, the automotive franchise has elected to relocate its call centre to the Geebung premises of the Eastern Group Support Office. The move will assist with the reaction to opportunities by having senior personnel based on the East coast, living in the market which has the best potential for development.
Meanwhile, the Concrete Taxi franchise is involved with the industry-focussed Tradesman Expo in Perth this coming weekend. The Brisbane show was very successful and Concrete Taxi is looking forward to continuing positive feedback from this years Perth show.
The automotive franchise recent expansion in Brisbane has required the use of one of the regular units operating in Perth for display at the Tradesman Expo. The focussed nature of the attendees to the Show means further spreading of the word on the ease of supply for small mix concrete delivery in Perth Metro and Peel areas warrants the use of the truck, with many tradies still wondering exactly what the funny green truck actually does.
An additional Concrete Taxi franchise truck will be operating in Perth by end of June, with involvement in both the Franchise Exhibition and the Tradelink MBA Home Show end of June.
