One of West Australia’s most experienced chicken chain operators will be showing Kinross locals how it’s done when he opens a new
CHOOKS fresh & tasty store.
Sam Genovese is currently a store manager at another CHOOKS store and is quite experienced when it comes to the chook trade.
“I have worked in fast food stores where chicken has been the primary product for the past 20 years,” he said.
“I worked as an area manager for another
chicken franchise group for nine years and ran a store owned by the same group for nine years.”
Sam said he took on the role of store manager at Stirling CHOOKS in April 2007 and soon after decided to open his own store.
“Owning my own franchise will be a better way of life for me as I’ll be my own boss and have more flexibility.
“I chose CHOOKS because it is a friendly, family-oriented business and I already know other franchisees that are happy being a part of the CHOOKS family. In fact my cousin owns the Kingsley store and I’ve heard many good things from him.”
Sam said as a CHOOKS franchisee his main goals included providing employment opportunities, supporting and getting to know the local community, delivering top customer service and providing excellent quality chicken.
“The opening of my store will provide approximately 20 new jobs – that will be the first major contribution I make.
“I also plan to support a few different sporting clubs through my store such as the local soccer club. My son and daughter have a keen interest in soccer so I’m sure they’ll be happy about that.
“I hope locals will come by to say hello and I challenge them try the chicken – they will see for themselves how fantastic it really tastes.
“The products we sell are fresh and of excellent quality and the prices we offer are very affordable.”
The Kinross store is expected to open mid March at Shop T12 Kinross Shopping Centre, corner of Connolly and Selkirk Drive.
