Interested in learning more about the huge Australian franchising industry? Want to go into business for yourself? Looking for the franchise model that suits your style? Find answers to these questions and more at this year’s Franchising & Business Opportunities Expo in Brisbane.

With a focus on providing visitors with the most practical and relevant information available, this unique expo is part of the largest and longest running exhibition series in the industry, and is taking place at the Brisbane Convention & Exhibition Centre, 12 – 14 September 2008.

Visitors to the advisory franchise Expo will have the opportunity to meet and compare dozens of companies, access financial advice and speak with experts in the one convenient location. Information that would normally represent days of appointments, meetings and discussions can be researched in a matter of hours.

Exhibitors at the Expo will cover a range of franchising and new business models, giving visitors looking to run their own business a huge range of options and experiences to choose and learn from.

The Franchising Boot Camp, Franchising Networking Lounge and Franchising Advice Centre will be key draw cards for visitors to the show, providing information on the franchising industry for those hoping to learn more.

The Franchising Boot Camp will be a power-packed and practical session, giving visitors the opportunity learn about the franchising industry and participate in a question and answer session with a panel of franchisees and industry experts. The Franchising Networking Lounge will provide a forum for visitors to meet with franchisees and other business opportunity representatives and discuss opportunities in a relaxed, one-on-one environment.

For those with questions about the ins and outs of franchising, the Franchising Advice Centre will provide visitors with practical advice on getting into the franchising industry, with banking and legal experts on hand to answer questions.

The “Government Information for Business” zone at the show will provide visitors with relevant information from departments including the ACCC, Department of Employee Industrial Relations and Department of Tourism, Regional Development and Industry.
