Domino’s franchising opportunities in the fast food sector

The Domino’s franchise strong growth plan across Australia means it is constantly on the lookout for dedicated and passionate people to become pizza franchisees. Many current Domino’s Pizza franchisees have found the job so rewarding that they now own several Domino’s franchises. The Domino’s franchise makes money out of selling pizza, not pizza franchises. Our whole focus is to help Domino’s franchisees sell more pizza, make more money and, most importantly, have more fun.

The selection process is taken very seriously by the Domino’s franchise. Our objective is to ensure that every fast food franchise in the network is successful. That is why we look for the following attributes in those wishing to own a pizza franchise:

· A passion, commitment and drive to succeed in the fast food franchise industry

· Ability to lead a pizza franchise team

· Good people skills

· Good administration skills

· Entrepreneurial flair, especially in regards to a fast food franchise

· An ability to have fun and work in a young, energetic and vibrant organisation.

The Domino’s franchise fee for your first store is $50,000 plus GST and covers the right to use the brand name, Domino’s franchise systems and recipes, as well as your comprehensive training program. Also, you are expected to cover the pizza franchise store build cost which can range from $290,000 to $360,000 plus GST. Of course, these prices are estimates only and individual circumstances will need to be taken into consideration before building of your fast food franchise commences.

Your benefits include:

· Use of one of the world’s most recognised food brands, Domino’s Pizza

· A dedicated pizza franchise territory

· Support through all stages of the fast food franchise building process

· Professional and comprehensive training covering every aspect of owning and operating a Domino’s franchise

· Local franchise consultant to help with ongoing pizza franchise operations, including meeting health and safety regulations and improving operational effectiveness and efficiencies by adopting best practice in fast food franchises

· Ongoing pizza franchise training, infrastructure and marketing support.

If you decide to become a Domino’s franchisee, you submit your application and confidentiality agreement, with the supporting documents. After this, the Domino’s franchise issues disclosure documentation and there is a meeting between yourself and the Domino’s franchise. The prospective pizza franchisee is then invited to spend one day in a Domino’s franchise, to gain an appreciation of what it is like in a fast food franchise. A mutual agreement of the prospective fast food franchisee’s territory is settled upon and then your business plan is submitted to the Domino’s franchise. When the bank or financial institution approves finance, the Domino’s franchise fee is paid, training commences and then the countdown to the Domino’s franchise opening begins.
