
Since 2001, the people of Adelaide have been enjoying
Bean Bar’s strong double shot coffee and now they will see Bean Bar in a whole new light and colour. Bean Bar are currently preparing for a major launch of their new colour, logo and slogan ‘Double or Nothing’.
Consumers are becoming more discriminating in their coffee tastes. Café’s and
coffee outlets not meeting this emerging standard are being left behind.
Bean Bar are capitalising on this and are currently serving more than 20,000 coffees a week from six outlets, with four new Bean Bar stores set to open in the Adelaide CBD by July next year. Bean Bar will also be broadening their offer by creating a mobile coffee service early in the new year. Bean Bar coffee vans will be focused on servicing workplaces outside the CBD and becoming involved in local community events.
Everyone now has the opportunity to have a gourmet coffee every day. The coffee market is fast expanding in Adelaide with the new concept of service stations incorporating cafes to serve espresso coffee.
Bean Bar Master Franchisor Ron Basset said the introduction of coffee outlets in service stations is a bonus for Bean Bar as it is encouraging people to ditch the homemade instant cup of coffee and turn to the specialised espresso coffee.
Bean Bar monitor consumers’ reactions and keep ahead of the game with continual improvements to their product to increase their share of the booming market.
Waymouth Street franchise owner Joe Minuzzo talks coffee, saying: “Bean Bar have been successful because of the expert Baristas and their commitment to the high standards to each coffee served to all customers.”
Another innovation is in the franchise agreement. Bean Bar have enough confidence in their system to offer all new franchise owners a guaranteed buy back option which may be triggered at any time by the owner. Ron Basset said the company had made this move to give new Franchise owners confidence in their investment.
