Jonathan Brown knows the tricks of the trade on the field and now he is helping implement them off it.
The Lions co-captain is applying his handy work to
Good Sports Home Services – a handyman, car wash and maintenance service with a difference.
The brainchild of Brown’s cousin and state league footballer Shaun ‘Mugsy’ Mugavin, Good Sports Home Services stemmed from Mugavin’s own Mugsy’s Mowing business which operated with great success around Queensland from 2006.
After almost two years of operation, Mugavin found he wanted to offer a greater range of services to his clients and provide an opportunity for fellow athletes to make money in a flexible and lucrative way.
So he enlisted the services of his cousin Brown and Morningside Panthers team mate Jacob Gough to create a unique
home based business concept – Australia’s first 3-in-1 home services business.
The basis behind the name ‘Good Sports’ is that the owners are passionate about giving something back to the local sports community to help create future sporting champions like the ones supporting the business.
Therefore, a percentage of each franchisees turnover goes directly to a local sporting club of their choice. They really are ‘Good Sports’!
