The
Michel’s franchise system was founded with the simple intention: a central
bakery, which bakes the product and distributes to retail outlets, which in turn
displays and sells to the customer.
At
Michel’s the food preparation (baking) is separated from the retailing, in most
cases, you simply place your order to the central bakery and your products will
be delivered fresh the next day.
Ordering
and delivery times for regional outlets may vary and in some cases, product
finishing is required.
Michel’s
reputation for success and its high standing in the business sector has enabled
us to develop relationships with the three Australian big banks - Commonwealth
bank of Australia, Westpac, and ANZ.
If
finance is required, potential franchisees can take advantage of these
relationships to obtain financial assistance not normally available to small
business investors, of course if you may choose to use another lender if you
like.
The
recruitment process enables potential franchisees the time they need to
thoroughly research the bakery franchise system.
During
the recruitment process, potential franchisees will undertake meetings and a
formal interview with Michel’s Patisserie and Retail Food Group employees.
Franchisee testimonials
"My
husband and I own two Michel’s Patisserie stores, we bought our first franchise
in Casula in December 2005and acquired our second franchise at Wattle Grove 12
months ago.
We
chose Michel’s Patisserie because it was an established brand with a great
reputation and a huge range of products that caters for all occasions, instead
of other franchises that are quite select. They have amazing support with an
area manager and a great management team.
We
also loved the marketing arm of the franchise, which is strong and has powerful
strategies."

"I
worked for a telecommunications company for over 26 years and I became a team
leader of 30 staff. There were a lot of changes with management and the company
was going through a restructure so my job was giving me more pressure with no
extra money, this is when I started thinking of buying a franchise.
I
chose Michel’s because they have a full range of products and everyone has to
eat! The demand is constant throughout the day ensuring a busy business. You’ve
got morning tea, lunch and afternoon tea – there is such variety, so you’re not
limited to only one part of the day.
Most
of my customers are regulars- they come in every day, I have established an
ongoing rapport with local businesses, workers, schools and families.
I
think its important to develop these relationships as they are customers who
visit me for all their birthdays and celebrations and I enjoy the public
interaction."
