Little did we realize that taking on a Catmax franchise 9 months ago would turn into an "extreme" experience!
Extremely:
• Challenging
• Satisfying and rewarding
• Good for cat owners and their cats
• Good for councils
• Good for communities concerned about their natural environments
• Good for neighbours who might not share our passion for cats
All part of being involved in an "extreme" business.
Personally the highlights for me are seeing the end product – where the customer presents you with their own unique requirements. Every job is different and there is nothing more satisfying than presenting the customer with an enclosure that not only meets their needs and that of their cat/s but hopefully exceeds their expectations.
From a business point of view post Christmas has been particularly busy keeping me constantly on the go. This has allowed me to consolidate the business and carry stock and accessories with confidence.
Being a new small business operator and franchisee it is comforting to have the backup and support of the franchisor group with their wealth of experience to draw upon and advice to impart. Not only does this help to grow our business but it allows us to service and therefore benefit the many valued cat owners in our community.
The challenge now is to maintain and grow the exposure of Catmax to cat owners in the Perth North Coast area and provide a solution for their own cats needs and their own peace of mind.
