mapped areas that reflect this along with proximity to hospitals, which

Our History
Established in 1989 Melbourne, Victoria, Backcare & Seating and initially
comprising of one store has today grown to comprise of franchised and licensed
operations via associated companies in 5 countries with our products being sold
in 15 countries worldwide.
The concept was created when a physiotherapist established a unique specialty
retail store with products geared towards health and posture. He soon realised
the need to develop better seating solutions considering the amount of time
spent sitting in the same spot at work, which led to the development of the
Therapod range of products. Over the past 12 years these products have generated
an enviable reputation for quality and performance and the new C-pod chair
promise’s to continue the legacy.
Early in 2007 a team of highly experienced organisation developers came together
to build the retail business through the existing licensed network, taking
Australia's largest specialty retailer of ergonomic products to the next leg in
its development.
